About the Speaker: 

Architecture Professor Diane Hays will speak on “Architectural Concepts to Honor the Enslaved”, featuring original research and work with her MSU architecture students on the Forks of the Road Natchez Slave Market. Plans are in the works for a memorial to honor those enslaved at this market. A Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Diane is the recipient of numerous awards for educating future architects.
